Due to limited time and resources I'll be blogging from Illusion or Reality from this point forward.
Stop by and bring some wood for the fire. We'll call them carbon credits and use it to offset global warming. Al Gore and John Kerry can be our carbon deficits. And as some of us Vietnam Vet's know: Bunk doesn't burn very well....

2007-February: The Last Episode
News

The fractured fairytales have changed from illusion to reality now in more ways than one folks. FFT was created on a whim for the soul purpose of learning some computer skills and bashing the clowns on the left. It has served its purpose and has taught me several lessons in the process of it all. It will now fade away while I deal with the reality of living while I still can. I’m in the survival mode now and don’t plan on backing down in the near future.

I thank all of you that have stuck by my side during the course of this lesson. Your support and friendship is something I’ll always take to heart, and it has given me the courage and faith to stay the course. We are one together regardless of the outcome.

This is no longer a fractured fairytale. Illusion has become reality for some of our fellow citizens and America is in deep doodoo if we don't stay the course. You can outlaw incandescent light bulbs in California if you want to but that's just a symptom of the real problem. As my good friend Rurik would say; “socialism bores me”.

>>> Illusion Or Reality? <<< The rest is history……..

2007-January: Site news
NewsDue to security vulnerabilities with the forum it’s been disabled. To bad and so sad but you’ve got to move with the flow and not be a part of the problem. FFT has been under constant attack with this CMS and it’s getting way to hard to stay ahead of.

Fractured Fairy Tales will be back and poking fun at the MSM and exposing their lies again, but using a new platform to do it from. It’ll take awhile so be patient with me.

I’d like to thank all of you that have supported me with my 1st attempt to learn PHP. It was a tough learning curve and still is but I intend to use a different set of buttons to control this machine in the future.

Special thanks go out to bdfaith, Russ Vaughn, Gray Dog, Scarlett, Right Truth and Exodus for giving me the will to learn my lessons. If hadn’t been for all of you and the rest of my web friends I would surely be running naked and screaming thru the streets by now. With false teeth, no hair, and a gun. You are the best of friends and shall never be forgotten.

Anyhow, life is a full time job in itself with a lot of accompanying back groud noise, so this is going to take awhile. I’ll try to hurry every chance I get. but in the mean time it is what it is. Just another Fractured Fairy Tale.

>>> Illusion Or Reality? <<< also just came alive so check that out when you can.

Yikes! I think my "Way Back Machine" is working now Mr. Peabody!

It was a lesson well learned, but I think I'll stay with my present state of mind for now and just try to stay ahead of the game. Illusion has become reality for this director. The Fractured Fairy Tales are history.......

2007-January: My Politics: A History Lesson
NewsI got my first taste of politics when I did a 9-month tour serving with the 102nd Combat Engineers in the Central Highlands of South Vietnam. Up until that point I hadn’t paid much attention to our politicians or what was happening on the world stage, and politics for me was just something that people watched on their TV sets. That all changed with the realization that I was fighting a just war with real people and lives in the balance, I just couldn’t understand why some in America had sided with the left against my Vietnamese friends and our own military. We were being made to fight a war with “nerf gloves” on because of a political element that had sided with the MSM to deny us victory and bring shame on America. It made me sick at heart to see them affect our ability to do the right thing for those good people. At that point in time I didn’t have much respect for politicians, and being politically correct was not an option for me, survival was.

My lesson continued when I was waiting at Long Binh for my flight back to the “Real World” and some low life bastard stole my bags. I’d just purchased 800$ worth of high quality books on electronics and had eight rolls of undeveloped 35mm pictures in those bags. I just hope and pray that he found the pet scorpions I left for him (I wish) in the process. I’ll never get to see those pictures or read those books because some damn scumbag wanted my luggage to sell so they could support their drug habit. I hope they rot in hell where they belong.

Then upon landing at LAX I had jet lag problems and managed to leave my camera bag under my seat. I noticed it immediately in the gangway and asked one of the stewardesses if she would please retrieve it for me; she returned and I was informed that it wasn’t anywhere to be found. I called “BS” but was way to exhausted, and ready to get home at that point to make a scene. While I was headed for my next connection two long haired tough guy types tried to explain to me that I was a baby killer and should go back to Vietnam where I belonged. I guess at that point I would have been more than willing to do so. I sure as hell didn’t feel like I belonged here.

I wasn’t in the mood for anymore BS at that moment in the history lesson and told them that they needed to get out of my face before I kicked their balls into orbit. For some reason I had the distinct feeling that I had been shot at again and just didn’t know how to react when it was coming from my fellow American’s. They left peacefully with their nuts intact , and I made my connecting flight to STL. I was shaken by the whole ordeal of coming home, but still glad to be here. It was a lesson in politics that I didn’t quite understand at the time and chose to forget.

I was still kind of “shell shocked” for quite some time after that, and just tried to live with the PTSD or whatever it is they call it these days. I went to work, got married to a nice Irish girl, and we concentrated on living and raising our son. I figured politics was basically just what everybody else was still seeing on his or her TV sets and was a total waste of time for me. I no longer cared who the man behind the curtain was; I was fed up with the whole damn clown act and I put my “politics” on the back burner. It was no longer an issue.

Fast forward:

When our current global warming advocate Al Gore came so close to getting elected in the year 2000 I started to realize that I was getting another political lesson. It caught my attention but I figured it was out of my control at that point and brushed it off. That was a mistake.

Then John Fraud Kerry arrived on the scene with his bid for CIC in 2004 and this old dog had a wakeup call (slap in the face) thatt brought back all of my lessons of the past. Politics became a whole new ball game at that point, and the gloves came off. Al Gore had scared me in 2000, but JFK made me realize that something was truly wrong with the state of politics in America. It was a Skerry lesson delivered by people like Ted Kennedy and the rest of the kooks. I just didn't really feel like getting bitch slapped by Liberalism again. The first time around was enough for me.

Life’s tough if you do it right folks. The last thing we need is a bunch of socialistic and apologetic bunch of crap heads telling us how to do it in the process. I don’t care much for this “nanny state” mindset that is being forced on us by our politicians and the MSM that is screaming to our left. I’ll fight the same war I’ve always fought. It’s just in a different location this time.

2006-December: Why I do it.
News The SYSOP'S FABLES

I got into web authoring during the “Kerry War's” of the 2004 election cycle. That was a sobering experience for me and made me realize that there were still some things worth fighting for. JFK gave me that oppurtunity and politics took on a whole new meaning for this Old War Dog. After all, I'd served in Vietnam also and remembered what he'd done for us the first time around. I didn't need any repeats of a bad performance on his part, or another slap in the face.

During the course of that year I had email exchanges with some of the people that were leading the charge on John Fraud Kerry’s bid for CIC, and we became the best of friends. These are people that work harder for America than most of it's politicians do and good to have around in this current fight for "our" country.

The "Gray Dog" and his pup "BMC" made me realize that not everybody had fallen prey to this warped way of thinking coming from the left wing, socialistic moonbat’s that make up the majority of our current day society. They also proved to me that there was still some hope for all of us as a nation, and that some were not inclined to get "stuck on stupid". They are the true patriots, and not John Kerry. It's the same war, just a different location as far as I'm concerned.

Music: Cannon in D by Trace Bundy
News_____________________________________________________________________________________
This piece by Johann Pachelbel (Canon in D) is one of my favorite works of art.
Trace does a very good rendition of the original with his guitar here in my opinion. Not that I would know anything about guitars and that musical way of looking at things of course, but it does make my fingers itch. Hmmm.....
