This site has been dormant for quite awhile now so it’s probably time to use it or loose it. I like the concept of The Fractured Fairy Tales and the graphics using the current theme so I’m going to run with it. Given the fact that I’ve got a half dozen websites going at this point, it may take awhile to get things spooled up, so be patient and we’ll see were it goes from here.
This was a close one and I just about got vaporized in the process. Basically I was hand cranking a set of knives in on a 13Kv set of switchgear with depleted SF6 levels (the company hadn’t corrected the problem) in the switch cartridges. When I made the connection I heard one of the HV fuses pop and I headed for the door. The switch chamber blew up just as I got to the door and the explosion slammed me face down in the rocks outside of the building. If it would’ve happened 2 seconds earlier, well, you wouldn’t be seeing these pictures. The heavy gauge top of the cabinet literally folded up around the 3″ conduit, blew all the access doors off of their hinges, and sent shrapnel in all directions.
Here’s another good example of this sort of thing happening:
Basically, the dog ate my homework while I was busy doing the chores. Kind of a lame excuse I know, but that’s life in a nut shell. Nothing in, nothing out. God I love physics. Couple that with the mind and see what you get…………….. And no, that doesn’t have anything to do with religion or politics, it’s a personal matter as far as I’m concerned. We’re actually one and the same in the long run…………….
You know who you are and I thank each and everyone of you for your support. You’re a good lot.
This drum sequence didn’t have any kick drum in it and the only bass line in it is the one I composed for output to another synthesizer for the mix. At least I didn’t try singing that time………………….

We’re all kind of like post turtle’s in a way, it’s just a matter of prospective for the most part. So how did it we finally get there here in the first place? You be the judge, the outcome is still the same.
Having worked in and around the petroleum industry for many years I call BS on the “peak oil” theory. We haven’t even started dealing with the more immediate problems facing us. I mean think about. How the heck did we get up here in the first place?
Oil Well, some things never change and it’s the “state of the matter” that counts; not to be confused with “a matter of the state”.
